Lighting systems: architecture and interconnected products

Our mission is to develop lighting systems, that is, products interconnected to each other that can be used both independently (stand-alone) and in aggregate. This makes it possible to implement any type of lighting system, from the simplest to the most important and articulated.

We propose lighting solutions in which technological innovation always finds the right commercial concreteness, thus avoiding following the fashions of the moment, sometimes with little practical validity. Wireless control specialists, we know very well the wired technologies, in particular the DALI protocol (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) of which we are experts. Our radio technology is highly reliable and suitable for covering long distances in critical contexts.

Our software management solutions allow system integration with BMS, SCADA and Cloud. The architecture provides the possibility to choose whether to install the software within the customer’s IT network (on premises) or to manage everything remotely with applications in the cloud.

Wireless 868 MHz Mesh Network

We use a robust radio technology towards interference and suitable to cover long distances in “noisy” environments such as industrial ones, avoiding the 2.4 GHz band which is too crowded and not very efficient. Thanks to the Mesh Network, each node of the system receives, regenerates and retransmits the data, guaranteeing redundant communication paths and extended radio coverage.

LED Driver for IoT applications

We are partners of Signify (Philips) and Osram and we integrate their Xitanium SR and DEXAL LED drivers, which allow to obtain detailed information on consumption, working hours, operating temperatures and other operating parameters. Thanks to these drivers it is possible to implement IoT (Internet of Things) solutions, where each luminaire can be monitored through detailed telemetry.

DALI and 1/10V LED luminaires

Our wireless controllers are combined externally with standard dimmable luminaires. This avoids changing the individual light fixture for the integration of internal components, reducing costs and guaranteeing greater design and maintenance flexibility. We manage all types of DALI drivers and emergency kits (Device Type – DT1, DT6 and DT8). In particular with the DT8 drivers it is possible to realize Tunable White and HCL (Human Centric Lighting) applications.

Plug & play solutions

You can make stand-alone, independent and economic lighting systems, simply by using controllers and sensors configured via the App. This allows you to avoid additional hardware, software and above all costs related to interventions by specialized technicians.

A stand-alone solution allows:

  • switch on, switch off and adjust the intensity of the fixtures based on motion and brightness sensors
  • manually control the system using wired and wireless buttons
  • manually control the system via the App.

Connected systems

A connected solution allows:

  • Control the lighting system as in a stand-alone solution
  • Manage the system based on time schedules, modifying work parameters over time
  • Manage the system through supervision software obtaining the diagnostics of the emergency devices and components (self- contained luminaires, centralized power supply units – CPSS)
  • Get detailed information on energy consumption
  • Centralize multiple lighting systems, even geographically located in remote areas (Multi-site Management)
  • Integration with other hardware and software systems.
