Energy consumption analysis

You can measure the energy consumption of the system and, in the case of relamping, assess the savings achieved compared to the previous one (with non-LED luminaires). In the case of a new installation, the analysis returns the savings achieved thanks to the inclusion of the control systems, as the reference consumption is already that of the LED luminaires.

The measurement of the energy consumed can be referred to the single light point and/or to the power supply line coming from an electrical panel. The sampling time of the values can be set during setup and all data can be displayed in graphical or tabular form, as well as naturally be exported to standard files.

Measurement of consumption of the single light point

To obtain this measurement, the luminaire must be equipped with a DALI dimmable LED driver capable of providing this data. This is possible using the Xitanium SR technologies of Signify (Philips) or DEXAL by Osram, companies of which we are certified partners.

Measurement of the consumption of a supply line

It is possible to monitor a power supply line coming from an electrical panel using a third-party energy meter with a Modbus communication interface, a standard protocol also used by our systems. However this solution could return the consumption not only of the lighting system but also of other loads possibly connected to the line. Note that this is the only viable choice if measurements are required in line with the MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) directive.
